If you have never been to Rochester, you are missing a wonderful midwest town. We are centrally located in Northern Indiana, just an hour south of South Bend on St Rd 31. Indianapolis and Chicago can be reached in 2 hours. Rochester has 2 golf courses & numerous recreational parks. Lake Manitou is located here. Our beautiful lake is over 700 acres, lots of skiing, sailing, fishing or just relax on your pontoon. We have many restaurants in the area. There are two local motels. In our county we have several other smaller fishing lakes that are very nice, Nyona Lake & Bruce Lake. The Tippecanoe River runs thru the county and is a great source of fun in the summer. Many people canoe &/or float down the river. We have different festivals through out the spring, summer and into fall. Fulton County is a small quiet place to live. We are close to large cities but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. Come and visit our town. We are happy to send you a relocation package for the county.
